James Delco
James Delco is an indie singer-songwriter born in Venezuela, raised in Fort Mill, South Carolina, and currently based in Charlotte, North Carolina. His childhood home was full of music that was as diverse in genre as it was in culture, providing an unintentional music education that serves as his main songwriting inspiration to this day. Discovering guitar at 15 and live performance at 19, he is a self-described “late bloomer” who taught himself writing, singing, and music production. In the Spring of 2020 he left the University of South Carolina to pursue a music career, and has been honing his craft in the live venues of the Carolinas ever since. His music reflects his search for belonging, connection, and understanding - inviting those doing the same into a place where they can feel welcome.
